Understanding lifeskills through famous Cricketers

(opinions in this blog are mine, they are not researched, nor I have any proof, if you find that I am wrong please let me know, if you think I am right also let me know. Either way give me some feedback)

Sachin Tendulkar:
  • Is a good time manager.
  • Knows when to attack(be aggressive)
  •  constantly works on his skills.
  •  Is humble( Does boast about his success)
  • But lacks leadership skills. A team man to the core but not the leader.
  • Does not let ego settle.
  • Does not like to speak much or take stands
  • Born in middle class family- raised up in lifestyle as time went by
Hence lesson here is: Best performer may not be a great leader but a good team man.

Rahul Dravid:

  • Gifted but not really talented. (As in has a lot of Patience but does not have the stroke power.) But he uses this and converts it into a strength through a lot of hard work and practice.
  • Lets actions speak
  • Old school with vibrancy
  • Follows work patterns
  • Middle class upbringing strong roots both upgraded without losing essence.
Lesson here:  You may not be naturally talented (ie Sehwag) but you can work on your skills.
Work patterns help. Build them for yourself as per industry you are in.

Sourav Ganguly
  • Attitude.
  • Passion to Fight.
  • Aggressive.
  • Backs up young people and encourages.
  • Fire in the belly / Guts (Remember the Shirt fling)
  • Good man manager
Lesson to be learnt: Be aggressive and help young talent and build a team
