Lion King.

Lion Interaction at Casela.

What does it  feel like to touch a King? Does it have any special feelings or do you get a lump of nervousness while doing so. For years, man has been at the top of the food chain and being numero uno has its perks. We are the top species and we do what we wish to do.

Yet the experience of touching a lion was an unique one for me. Not because of the innate danger it invariably carries but due to the thrill of it. Lions were at top of the food chain for a long time. They are still symbolically used as royalty, are on currency notes and on various emblems and logos.

"The lion and its peers had the grace and left me in awe"

The word pride is used to describe a group of lions, and yet like a giant cat (with supervision of course) I could touch a lion and feel its soft furry skin. It felt, almost as if it were a pet and yet it had a element of thrill.

Would I do this again. Yes, definately.
