I watched a tamil movie yesterday which meant that I was heavily dependent on subtitles. And the romantic song which seemed like a flowing verse of erotic and sensuous words hit me hard. I wonder when will our hindi verse will get so open in expression or so bold in it.
As it turned out this movie was a Tamil version of Saathiya and I loved to see the way the same concept from Tamil was carried forward in Hindi Saathiya.
Life is empty and meaning less it is the meaning you give to life which makes it a wonderful place to be in.

Word
Your word creates the world . I did use a few words a few days ago and those same words crashed on to me today like a wave of cold water which has killed some part of me.
Some part of me is dead right now. But I guess I will wake up again to live.
Sometimes no matter what you do, the world hates you for who you are. In such a delicate moment the only thing that can help you find love again is hope and ability to help yourself. I still have hope. The only thing which matters to me now is the fact that I trust the world and I trust the fact that good intentions will lead to good deeds. I have to do good work and let the world be.

Such hi Sachin
Sachin scored a 100 today and then he did it once again. All this in a single game. I feel happy. I have no words to describe the pleasure.

What is the take away for Hanuman in Ramayan?
It was evening when my friends started a very interesting conversation with me about take aways / profit for various characters in Indian mythological epics. Obviously every character in Mahabharat has a take away expect for Bhisma and every character from Ramayan has a take away except for Hanuman. And look at the parallels. Both had central roles to play in the story line. Both of them had to remain bachelors (one because of a vow, the other one because of a choice) . Both were long lasting ( one could control his death and the other is believed to be immortal). Both were men of words, (never made a vow which they broke). And yet on the face value of it they had no take away. They are sort of Snape in their appearance (the tragic hero who never gets his due in Harry Potter).
But they have take aways. May be the sort of take aways, we materialistic people do not even comprehend. So we are not concerned. A Hanuman or Bhisma may be a misfit in today's corporate world but their take away was Spiritual enlightenment through either Bhakti route (devotion) or Karma route (work dedication). I guess we have to take away the blinkers to see the take aways of some dedicated people.

Pune watch - where are the raptors coming from?
Pune is no Jurassic park. I am very clear on that. Actually it is a wonderful city with great culture, knowledge, heritage and most importantly technological growth and adaptation.
And still I say that Pune has Raptors all around who are agile, smart and they attack you from all directions,
Who are these raptors... well bike drivers who don't drive their bikes but drive it like a gun or the bus drivers who try to squash you overtaking you from your right side and then after all the trouble they stop the bus at the next bus stop which incidently is just 30 feet away. Or it is cars or bikes who just enter your driving lane from various blind spots, ever ready to cause accidents and more ready to actually appreciate/praise you with fancy vocabulary each language has for occasions of dispute.
I drove through this jurassic park today. Many people do it everyday. They possibly are not that bothered. My point is road disciplines should be maintained, so everybody would enjoy driving. Also it might just make driving in Pune a bit safer for the people.

Love Hatred and Ideology.
Love
Its Valentine day. But today the love I am seeing is not the conventional love. Its love for a cause. Its love for values like friendship, freedom of speech, conserving environment. I respect this love a lot and I pray that this love
spreads.

Hatred.
German bakery is gone. At least 9 people are dead. Its terror. No its hatred.
Ideology.
Terror is not just a human life issue or a disgrace issue or a security issue. Terror is a ideological war between civilized world and the others. While we are living our normal lives millions of people are brain washed each day to hate us and be prepared to kill us. They kill us not for money or power or fame but for the ideology. If we can somehow pacify the hatred in this ideology, then possibly we can stop this terror. Then we don't need to have security but we need to have mutual understanding. Mutual Acceptance and understanding of each other is the key to stop terror.

A Tween boy and the hill
This story is about a boy, his trusted Atlas cycle and a hill. Long ago in a different land this tween boy had learnt the art of riding cycle. In fact he had acquired such great skills in that art that he started using this medium to ride to school. Years went by and the boy forgot about cycle.
Presently the boy who by now lives down under in a hostel has to climb up on Wellington road, (its windy) turn right from Paramveer Major Chowk and then with a great efforts ride up to his destination the hill. Its the hill which challenges him each day and each day he feels the monotony of the job which is to climb the hill. Today is especially a bad day. He got up late and thus skipped breakfast, and he already had skipped dinner last night. His stomach was growling but not as much as apprehension was growling in his mind. At the first turn the dogs (Rosie, N0 4 and N0 7) started barking at him and chased his cycle. But his cycle was trusted and like a noble stead it manoeuvred him away from danger and brought him close to his destination. The boy felt like Lance Armstorm in a tour De France with his constant high power pedalling and his technique of leaving his seat. At last the boy reached the top of the hill and with great effort got down his bike. Just when he was going to feel good about the whole experience, the boy suddenly realized that he forgot his I card back in his room. Without I card they won't let him enter the hill. Thus dejected he returned back. He said, " The hill did not beat me but I could not win it over either!"
